Hi everyone,

We’re closing out a fantastic, and busy, start to the year with the team growing, partnerships building and communities buzzing with a variety of different activations.

We’ve grown consistently, and not insignificantly, for the last few quarters now and from where I sit, it feels like we’re shifting into a more mature stage which is very exciting.

We appreciate all of our clients’ support and collaboration to help us make community marketing a mainstream channel, and we’ll continually improve to make sure you get the most out of our product.

🤖 Campaign Highlight: Mecha BREAK

This month has seen activations for a variety of different clients, like cybersecurity provider Mimecast, the new PC game Exoborne, Fortnite map amplifications and Noice, the live streaming platform.

However one stood out due to the wider industry hype it’s garnered, and that was Mecha BREAK’s Open Beta, delivered in Wildfire communities like the one below with a Pinned Event in the top left for maximum visibility throughout.

Given our flexibility, we can attract attention and deliver pre-release traction for games wanting to grow their community, drive conversions across early access, recruit playtesters and more.

Communities loved being a partner of the wider zeitgeist and it got people talking honestly. This is the power of integrating into communities – you become part of the conversation and not a third party shouting at a target audience:

💬 Discord Released a Social SDK

Developers can now effortlessly plug Discord’s social features right into their games.

Think in-game friend lists, slick voice chats, easy invites, and seamless cross-platform messaging.

What’s more, anyone can use it, whether or not they have a Discord account (though linking your account does make the experience more smooth).

We're excited over at Wildfire Towers, because this unlocks a world of possibilities for our campaigns! Imagine communities hanging out inside games as part of a campaign, where they’re chatting, hanging out and competing all under one roof.

Communities are the hub and underlying conversation of wider activations inside and outside of Discord, and with this SDK in play, we can help clients and communities blend their Discord presence right into immersive game experiences.

If you’re integrating the SDK into your game and want to explore the possibilities, we’d love to scope this out as a unique and new integration.

👀 Welcoming Tomasz

I’m so excited to be welcoming Tomasz Kaminski to the growing team, as VP of Customer Success and Growth.

Joining from Enthusiast Gaming, his experience and skill set fits our stage perfectly, and I’m sure that everyone that works with us will see our processes and operations go from strength to strength over the coming months.

Catch him on a call or in person from Monday!
