Hey there,

Another record-breaking month here at Wildfire puts us on-track to our goal of growing revenue by 400% this year as we all race towards the second half of 2025.

As with most months, we ran a variety of campaigns including for FMCG and tech brands, through to tabletop games and ARPG pre-launch drives for game studios.

To ease some of the growing pains, we’re hiring my dream job: Creative Strategy Lead. If you want to be responsible for our creative output, and set the tone for what community advertising looks like in gaming, this might be for you.

🏆 Campaign Highlight: Neverness to Everness

Playtest recruitment is hard. Once you’ve got your hardcore fans on board, where do you go next to broaden out your variety of opinions and increase numbers?

We’ve helped studios in the past with this challenge, and it has been awesome working on Perfect World x NTE’s Containment Test ahead of the game’s launch, engaging ARPG and affinity communities to get involved.

This touchpoint also helps down the road when it comes to launching or other early access periods, as the communities have shown an authentic recommendation that members will remember.

👀 Discord Users vs Average Gamers

We compiled some fascinating data using GWI to show the differences in:

  • Discord users

  • Gamers in general

  • Your average Joe

Here are 6 key takeaways to get your creative juices flowing and audience planning started for your next Wildfire campaign:

1. Discord users consume a lot of content:

2. Discord users pioneer new technologies and products:

3. Communities on Discord are a hub for content and recommendations:

4. Discord users want brands to inform, personalize and add value:

5. And themselves want to learn, succeed and be challenged:

6. Best of all, they’re more into brands and premium products than the average gamer or person:

📈 Reddit x Wildfire

Wildfire was always founded under the assumption that communities are a natural evolution of influencer marketing.

To capitalise on our growth to date, I’m excited to be able to roll out our Reddit offering to those that want an extended community advertising solution.

Using our past campaign, contextual community, and survey data, we’re able to identify target audiences that fit a brief, and the community platform we’ve used so far for distribution has solely been Discord, but many of these niche communities also live on Reddit and beyond.

Our future lies in exploring and adding other platforms, and web communities, to Wildfire through our platform-agnostic technology and capabilities.

Just like on Discord, we are now able to target down to specific subreddits and use our community-centric and value-led messaging in the most cost-effective way, as a one-stop shop for community advertising.

Our initial tests have been promising, using a single creative strategy on Discord extended to lookalike and crossover communities on Reddit.

Whether you’re after engagement or performance, we can create and activate one campaign across both platforms.

Why use Wildfire for Reddit?

1. Leverage our Discord insights across Reddit for better performance

2. No minimums or premium pricing associated with Reddit’s managed service

3. One creative strategy across multiple community platforms

4. Self-serve pricing with a managed service offering

5. Trust us to create community-focused content that drives action

We’d love to hear from you if you’re curious about learning more!
